Freshness and proximity go hand in hand

We are passionately dedicated to the commercialisation of citrus fruits, especially lemons, and we have more than 30 years of experience in what we do!

Our business philosophy is based on two fundamental pillars: quality and good service. These values have enabled us to grow steadily and drive us to continue to offer fresh products of exceptional quality.

Our facilities are located in Alquerías, in the province of Murcia, a strategic location for its proximity to crops. In this way, we manage to serve an exceptional product in optimal conditions for its sale.

Our citrus fruits come from groves located in the beautiful south-east of Spain, where the Mediterranean climate and fertile soil come together to create optimal conditions for cultivation citrus groves. These fields are subject to rigorous control systems that guarantee the quality of our products and have earned us international recognition.

In addition, in our warehouse we have a system of state-of-the-art packaging and wrapping which allows us to carry out meticulous quality and food safety controls.

Quality

Quality is one of the pillars of the company. Through our quality department, we control, supervise and manage the entire process through which the fruit passes: cultivation, harvesting, transport to the handling and packaging plant and subsequent transport to the markets.

Our production and control system ensures that our products meet the highest food safety requirements.

Our laboratory technicians monitor the products before they are shipped to customers to ensure quality and provide assurance to the end buyer.

brands

The brands under which our products are marketed are MARCOS and VIARMA, both selected under the same quality criteria and processes, responding to the needs of each client and the strategies of each market.

Packaging and presentation

We pack lemons and oranges in a wide range of packaging: 5, 6, 7, 10 and 15 kg cartons and wooden crates, as well as in different nets and Girsacs of 1/2 and 1 kg.

Distribution

One of our main objectives is that our products reach all markets in the best conditions and for this we collaborate with the most important companies in the international refrigerated transport sector.

We ship our products to the best European markets, and one of our projects is the expansion into new international markets.

Day after day, with great care and attention to detail, we make an effort to serve a fresh, healthy and exceptional product, thus extolling the beneficial properties of citrus fruits.

Quality seal

We are very proud to have recently received the GLOBAL GAP CoC certification, in recognition of our good work to guarantee the most demanding food safety measures for our lemons, and to pass this on to our customers.

The GLOBALG.A.P.CoC standard identifies the status of your product throughout the entire process, from farm to retailer. It sets strict requirements for the handling of certified products and the proper segregation of certified and non-certified products in processing units.

The GLOBALG.A.P. Chain of Custody (CoC) standard provides a high degree of transparency and integrity, which adds value to the product and brand in the market and an additional guarantee for your customers.
